Siemens Flat Panel Detector Cathlab

The Cath Lab (Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory) at HSC Medical Center is the first Siemens Flat Detector Cath Lab installed in Southeast Asia. The flat panel detector enables much clearer images of the heart arteries then conventional cath labs, which is very important for PTCA / stenting.

It is use for invasive angiogram, balloon angioplasty & stenting

HSC Medical Center remains at the forefront of advances in cardiology and continue to be progressive in the non-surgical interventional treatment related to heart disease with frequently performed procedures such as coronary balloon angioplasty, stent implantation, etc. All of the above were once defined only as surgical procedures and now are successfully executed in the cardiac cath lab which in turn reflects on the length and cost of patient stay.

Procedures such as conventional coronary angiography, balloon angioplasty and stent implantation are carried out by our internationally-trained cardiologists on out-patient basis.
