2. Do I need a referral from my doctor before having the Diagnostic Package?

3. What will I have to do during the examinations?

HSC is devoted to comfortable, fast and accurate wellness screening using latest Siemens 64-Slice MSCT and other advanced diagnostic equipment. Our caring expert clinicians will determine the most appropriate diagnostic package for you based on your health concerns.

4. When will I get my results and medical report?

This is the first medical center in the world where your full medical report, including coronary angiogram report (if any) is ready on the same day by our internationally-trained physician, cardiologist and radiologist.

5. Is my information private and confidential?










Yes. All your results and medical history are strictly confidential.

6. What should I wear on the day of my Diagnostic Package?

Please dress in comfortable clothing and bring along exercise shoes for treadmill. We provide T-shirt to visitors if necessary.

7. What should I prepare for my Diagnostic Package?

8. How can I pay for the Diagnostic Package and other medical fees?

We accept cash, Visa and Master Card credit card. We do not accept personal or company checks.

11. Who can benefit from your Diagnostic Package?

If you are over 35 years (for female aged 40 and above) and concerned about silent but potentially serious conditions, especially individuals at high risk for heart disease, stroke, cancer, etc., particularly smokers, those exposed to second hand smoke, individuals with chronic lung disease, and those with a family history of heart disease, stroke, cancer, aneurysms, etc.

12. Are there risks of radiation exposure?

Radiation exposure can be frightening to some people. Some of our diagnostic equipment like cardiac echo does not have any radiation, where HSC 's latest MSCT from Siemens of Germany only expose the patient to 0.6 msV for Lung Scan, 1msV for Coronary Calcium Scan, 0.3msV for brain and neck scan, etc.. Agencies that establish safety standards for the USA and international community have found that an individual can safely be exposed to 50-60msV in one year. Any potential risk of radiation exposure should be balanced against the benefit from the exposure.

13. Does the scanning procedure find everything that might be wrong?

HSC's comprehensive diagnostic package can detect most of life threatening diseases (e.g. heart disease), however, it is not a substitute for all medical evaluations. The human body is very complex and no single test can find all potential silent problems.

14. How often should someone have a scan done?

The time between health screening can vary from individual depending on risk factors and results from health screenings. After your first health screening, our doctors are willing to help you plan when to have your next one done.

15. What are the services HSC provides besides the Diagnostic Packages?

Besides a Diagnostic Center, HSC is also a Medical and Heart Center. We provide advanced daycare treatment and cardiovascular procedures such as EECP (non-surgical treatment from heart disease to improve blood supply to the heart), balloon angioplasty, Radio Frequency (SF-RF) device to open up completely blocked heart vessels, stenting, etc.

16. How is HSC different from the other Screening Centers?
