骨質密度儀是"黃金標準"診斷骨骼疏鬆症
骨質疏鬆症是一種退化疾病而引起嚴重骨流失進而容易造成骨折。
骨質密度儀是一種精密的儀器，可使醫生們檢測與提前治療骨流失。它安全，準確，無痛性的檢測骨質密度。在 HSC 醫療中心, DEXA 骨質密度儀有水準的為您預防骨質疏鬆症.
骨質密度儀可以比較目前和以往的結果。無需任何準備程序，但是掃描部位會要求除下您所有金屬的物品/飾品/配件。
骨質密度的適應症是 :
- 雌激素缺乏 - 更年期前期（ <45 嵗） / 季法停經的延長（ >1 年）
- 皮質類固醇的療法
- 母系家族有骨盆骨折病史
- 低體重指標（ <19kg/m 2 ）
- 放射科檢查證明有骨質疏鬆症與 / 或脊柱畸形
- 以前骨質弱而骨折，尤其是在盆骨 / 脊柱
- 身高下降，胸脊隆起
- 如果您有髖關節置換或脊椎植入，其它骨骼結構將被掃描。
