Foot Analysis

Introduction

The analysis is to identify the type of foot of each patient.

There are 4 types of feet:-

  • Normal arch
  • High Arch
  • Flat Feet
  • Collapse feet

First, you step into a foam casting kit or get a digital foot scan which captures an exact impression of your feet while you are standing, with your full weight on your feet.

The foot is made up of 52 bones and 28 joints that are kept together by ligaments, tendons and muscles. These together create arches in our feet. When our arch collapses or flattens this is known as flat feet or overpronation.
